Mr. and Mrs. John Whited


Heather Michelle McKinney and John Robert Whited were united in marriage on Sept. 22, 2007, at Buffalo Presbyterian Church in Cumberland.

The bride was given in marriage by her fathers. She is the daughter of Danny and Shari Ivey and Michael and Sheryl McKinney, all of Cambridge.

He is the son of John A. and Peggy Whited of Cumberland.

The Rev. Chip Steele officiated the double-ring ceremony.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was Jessica McKinney. Bridesmaids were Mary Whited, Candy Norris, Brittany Early and Dianna Hersey.

Serving the groom as best man was John A. Whited, his father. Ushers were Brian Roach, Wells Whited, Adrian Crozier and Corey Burch.

Katie McKinney served as flower girl.

Kody McKinney served as ring-bearer.

A reception followed for 170 guests at the Viking Hall, the former Cumberland High School. John and Peggy Whited and Shari and Danny Ivey hosted the reception.

The new Mrs. Whited is a 2007 graduate of Mid-East Career and Technology Center, where she majored in early childhood development. She is a homemaker and plans to continue her education.

Her husband is a 2002 graduate of Meadowbrook High School and a 2003 graduate of Wyoming Technical Institute. He is an employee of International Converter Inc., Caldwell.

The couple will make their home in Cumberland.
